Why juicing?

Green Juice

I think one of the easiest and fastest ways to increase your fruit and veggie intake is by consuming fresh fruit and vegetable juices.

Fresh juices provide you with valuable nutrients from fruits, herbs, greens and veggies. These nutrients are directly absorbed into your blood stream without burdening the digestive system.

When we juice, we are removing the insoluble fiber, but leaving in the soluble fiber so the resulting juice is not fiber-free. It in fact contains health-promoting phytonutrients and enzymes that are much more absorbably by our body.

In order to facilitate the absorption of nutrients juices shouldn’t be gulped down but rather be sipped and well insalivated. So drink it slowly and enjoy every sip of it!

The juices should be fresh, natural, unsweetened and unpasteurized!

Do I have to do a juice fast to be healthy?

No, you can enjoy just 1 glass of juice a day and still feel the benefits of it. A juice fast is a bit extreme, especially for a beginner. So if you’re new to juicing and a raw food diet, try out the 1 juice per day for a while and drink more whenever you feel ready.

Am I supposed to replace a meal with juice?

Yes, you can drink 32oz of juice as a breakfast for example. This will give you a refreshing start into the day because it leaves you with a light feeling and you’ll get all of the vitamins & minerals to keep you energized until lunch.
