Which foods can be combined and which food combinations lead to indigestion?
In the chart below you can see which fruits combine well (touching circles) and which foods don’t go well together (circles that don’t touch each other).
Melons in general are best eaten alone in the morning on an empty stomach as they digest very quickly and everything you might have eaten before will prevent it from getting digested so it starts leading to bloating.
Meal Plan Day 6
Dinner: A big bowl of lettuce (one head) with toppings of your choice and a dressing of your choice
Dressing no. 1: 1 zucchini, 1 cup of pineapple, ½ of a small avocado, 1-2 springs of basil
Dressing no.2: 1 sweet pepper, 1 zucchini, 1 stalk of celery, 5-6 slices of sun-dried tomatoes (saltfree), herbs
Dressing no. 3: ½ cup of coconut yogurt, 1 lemon/lime, chopped herbs (parsley, dill, cilantro, oregano,…)
Tipp: You can make the coconut yogurt yourself by blending up the meat and a little bit of the water from 1-2 young coconuts and stirring in the content of a probiotic capsule. Fill it into a glass and set it on a warm place over night and the next morning your yogurt is ready. 😉
