Did you know that you can eat carrot tops!?
Yes, it’s not just rabbit food. Just like many root vegetables (beets, radishes, turnips), carrots are grown for the roots and the tops usually end up on the compost. But it’s almost a shame to waste these nutrient rich greens because the greens contain way much more nutrients then the roots. In this case carrot greens contain more than 6 times as much calcium and more than 3 times as much vitamin B2 then the root itself. And since oranges are also a good source of calcium this juice provides you with lots of calcium for healthy bones & teeth.
